About me

Welcome to my IT blog! My name is Thijs, and I’m a 26-year-old living in Doetinchem, the Netherlands. While my love for football runs deep, my passion for all things IT is what truly drives me.

I’ve always been drawn to computers, and over the years, I’ve earned various IT diplomas and certifications from industry leaders like Cisco and Microsoft. Throughout my studies, I had the opportunity to intern at several companies, where I gained hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux systems.

Fast forward four years since graduating, and I now work as a system administrator, overseeing the IT infrastructure for 15 different companies. From managing Windows servers to setting up networks, implementing security measures, configuring backup systems, and troubleshooting user issues, I’m involved in a wide range of IT tasks on a daily basis.

What I love most about my job is the satisfaction that comes from solving problems and making our clients happy with my solutions. And that’s exactly what I aim to do with this blog – share my knowledge and experiences with you while providing helpful information and solutions.

In my line of work, I often find myself searching for manuals and guides online, only to come across ones that are either unclear or incomplete. That’s why I decided to create this site – to fill that gap and provide comprehensive, easy-to-follow guides for fellow IT enthusiasts.

So whether you’re a seasoned IT professional or just starting out, I hope you’ll find value in the content I share here. Feel free to explore, learn, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or suggestions.

Thank you for joining me on this journey, and let’s make IT work together!

Best regards,
Thijs
